d.fy Recommends: Jaytech feat. Tommy Murphy – Show You

2017 has seen some great progressive and deep house releases, but none that have compelled me to write a recommendation post. Well, until now. So, here’s my first recommendation for the year, and I’m glad it’s Jaytech!

The Magic of Jaytech

As with most of my recommendations, I stumbled onto this track in episode 222 of ABGT. I was on the subway returning home when this track began playing. Almost immediately, I pulled out my phone and searched for the name of the track. Obviously, I wasn’t surprised when I saw “Jaytech” as the artist.

Jimbo Jaytech was one of the first progressive house producers who got me hooked onto this genre. Everything from Pyramid, Milano (both featured on Night Lights), Pepe’s Garden, Metro, Wannabe, to Delta (it’s a never ending list really) is pure gold!

“Show You”

From the moment I heard Show You, I knew that this was an instant progressive house classic! Although, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of the vocals. The chorus sure sounds amazing (it’s been stuck in my head since I heard this song), but I can’t say that for the rest of the vocals. I guess a dub or instrumental version of this track would be nice.

And how about that foot tapping melody? Absolutely brilliant! Great uplifting vibes through and through. Give it a listen.

Great stuff as always from Jaytech. I can’t wait for “Show You” to be released. Also, I highly recommend Jaytech’s monthly podcast, it’s sure to brighten your day.
